The new GC-OCT splitter module allows for a seamless integration of splitters (or other optical components) inside the SAODF frame, without sacrificing on density. The robot will patch the splitter output tails to their target destination ( the subscriber) within minutes.
Furthermore, this centralized splitter approach in combination with the test probe allows for a simple point-to-point measurement. No complex algorithms, expensive OTDRs, high-reflective devices needed anymore !
Gigacom will showcase their latest developments on Robotic Optical Distribution Frames and Automated Test Access at Angacom in Cologne, Germany
Meet us at Hall 8, Booth D71 !
Gigacom has made de robotic ODF compatible with the latest Ultra High Density Duplex connectivity. In some applications, like data center environments, or dark fiber networks, network connectivity is provided using 2 fibers. The latest generation of Gigacom robots allows for the manipulation of these connectors and patchcords. Ultra high fiber count TRUE any-to-any connectivity can be automated from now on.
